What do we do in Homeschooling?

Alternative learning is called by many names, such as homeschooling, non-conventional, non-standardized, holistic education, and progressive education.

We live in the 21st century, and things around us are changing a lot faster than we realize. We need to incorporate this into our education. Many people plan their children’s careers at a very young age, and they start working on it by the age of nine or ten. These children get an advantage over the children who start learning at the age of fifteen. Alternative learning nowadays includes a lot of new concepts and topics to learn.

Businessmen want their children to develop business skills earlier; these subjects are then introduced earlier, along with the basics of other subjects. Engineers, doctors, lawyers, and sportsmen follow suit. Some parents also include foreign languages, life skills, mythological knowledge, emotional development, etc. Before undertaking alternative learning, we must first understand that it requires discipline.

Parents who are willing to make this transformation should be disciplined themselves. It may be difficult at first, but it is for the best going forward. The end result is far more rewarding than imagined. Now, many parents find it challenging to understand how and where to begin, which is for another post.
